There were some ominous clouds all day but we didn't get sprinkled on until we were almost back to civilization and pretty much done for the day. It was nice because the clouds helped keep it cool and kept us from dealing with bright light on waterfalls.

I kept thinking of the chocolate river in WIlly Wonka but I don't think you would want to eat this. This is a dam located at the site of an old mill.

There was insufficient water to have any real flow over the dam this time so we will have to go back.
On our way home, we decided to take the "scenic route" and see if we found anything. We didn't spend a lot of time in this mode but spotted a couple old barns with nice Kansas skies. We will need to make the random drive an actual destination one weekend and see what happens.
