Castle Rock Badlands and Milky Way
This image almost didn't happen. I took the image of the badlands around 8:45pm on Saturday night with the idea of coming back to get the Milky Way in the early morning. At 3am, I took the Milky Way photo but stupidly, I had the wrong focal lenght on my 16-35 lens. So instead of a wide angle shot of the Milky Way I ended up shooting at 35mm. I decided to composite the images anyway and it came out a lot better than I thought.
