February: Be The Engineer
On February 18th, I was able to drive Nevada Northern Railway Locomotive #40 up Robinson Canyon and back down to the East Ely Yard. I was instructed by Mike, my engineer and my fireman was Chris. Frank Terry rode along to take some photos.
This was the first time I had ever been in the cab of a steam locomotive and my first time at the controls.
