Nordco Super Claws Spike Puller
Ideal for high-production, easy-spotting applications, the Super Claws pulls two spikes simultaneously from each side of the rail. The patented Nordco claw provides powerful pulling power, while the Super Claws design allows spike extraction where other machines can’t reach, such as at joint bars. Capable of handling 1,200 pounds at a radius of 24 feet from track center, the KTC 1200 Tie Crane has a continuous rotation of 360 degrees. Heavy-duty, all-welded, reinforced construction of the upper deck and mainframe withstands loading and provides long life of the equipment. Minimal tail swing reduces the possibility of fouling the adjacent track. The propel system is at the deck level of the lower frame, allowing easy access to the motor, chain, etc. Each axle is powered by a hydraulic motor and #100 chain.
